The Chalice is the symbol of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).  Our Lord Jesus commanded us to share in His memorial supper whenver "two or more are gathered in His name."  Communion is open to all who take Jesus as their personal savior, regardless of church affiliation.  Communion is celebrated at every Sunday worship at Parma Christian.

The Chalice is symbolic of Holy Communion.  The Saint Andrew cross on the chalice becomes upright when the chalice is tipped to pur out the symbolic Blood of Christ
 Baptism --

Parma Christian Church has open membership with respect to baptism.  Valid Christian Baptism is accepted for people who transfer their membership to Parma Christian Church.  However, baptism at Parma Christian Church is typically by immersion and follows confessing Jesus Christ as the Son of the living God and taking Him as one's personal savior.
